EU-funded organic beef and lamb campaign for Bord Bia
How to make an international campaign seamlessly land in the German and Belgian markets and stand out in the organic food industry.
Background
Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board, launched an EU co-funded campaign to promote EU certified organic beef and lamb from Ireland in four European markets.
Background
Atlas Marketing Studio supported Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board, in the implementation of an EU-funded organic beef and lamb campaign promoting EU certified organic beef and lamb from Ireland across Germany, Belgium, Austria and Sweden.
The campaign was designed to raise awareness of Irish organic meat among professional audiences in the European agri-food sector, with a strong focus on B2B trade engagement, market education and premium brand experiences.
In markets such as Germany and Belgium, where organic food is already well established, the challenge was not only to present the product, but to build a stronger understanding of its origin, organic certification, quality and Ireland’s pasture-based production model.
The campaign needed to connect with importers, distributors, retailers, foodservice professionals, chefs, category managers, trade press and agri-food stakeholders, creating meaningful visibility for EU certified organic beef and lamb from Ireland.
Our work
Atlas partnered with Bord Bia to plan and execute a strategic B2B food marketing campaign, combining centralised coordination with local market activation.
The campaign launch focused on two high-level kick-off events: one at Villa D1 in Düsseldorf and another at the Irish Ambassador’s Residence in Brussels. These events helped introduce the campaign to key trade, institutional and foodservice audiences in Germany and Belgium.
Our work included:
- Strategic planning and B2B campaign execution.
- Campaign launch coordination in Germany and Belgium.
- Event management for the two kick-off events.
- Organisation of the launch event at Villa D1 in Düsseldorf.
- Coordination of the event at the Irish Ambassador’s Residence in Brussels.
- PR outreach and press coordination.
- Trade show activations.
- Specialised Meat Academy workshops.
- Digital and print campaign support.
- Creative design solutions.
- Immersive B2B experiences for trade audiences.
- Campaign visibility at events such as the Rolling Pin Convention in Düsseldorf.
The approach combined professional events, educational formats, trade engagement, media visibility and campaign materials to bring the product closer to the audiences that matter most for market development.
